caught the clip on Global last night. I just don't get why the heck
the delay??? I understand that if a patient is on the transplant list, then
become ill, then there can be a 3 or 6 months set-back, and if this is the case,
then they should be told, but it's been longer as it is. I honestly am not happy
with what this family must go through, the donor is right there! for cry'n out loud.

This family has taken a big swipe at the system and has forced people to answer the question...WHY !! Disturbing as it may be they, the teBoekhorst , have opened the doors wide open so we can take a look at the inside workings of the B.C.Transplant Agency and frankly a 212 day waiting period to get testing done is what is more disturbing than ... See Moreanything else.
Transplant agencies across Canada say they do everything to promote organ donation in our country...then we have a person like Dennis (and family) come along and expose the real problems behind being a living donor. What is being done here is setting a precedent for future families who would be navigating a system that is flawed and slower than the quickest turtle.
Why do we have organ donor problems in this country...Now we know the why...this family is fixing it...Hat's off from Ontario...god speed Dennis and Dr Grace

It's time to get an inside look at what really goes on, and
now that the doors are open, lets see what will become of it
all. I really do hope we'll see change for the best. So many questions
with no real legitimate answer, only more questions.
