Kidney Friends

As of late i have been recieving complaints from legitimate members of spam being sent to their email by various people who join kidney friends not as contributing active members, but solely for the purpose of spamming our legitimate members.

We have taken steps to try and remedy the problem by deleting and banning anyone identified as a spammer. Our members can help in this by reporting any emails recieved that are spam to either canadian or myself.

The problem is not strictly internal, and can arise from outside websites that are linked to kidney friends but if we are made aware of the problem, we can take measures on our end to remedy this issue.

I noticed there is no "report" button for PM's like there are for posts. So I deleted the 3 I got and PM'ed you with a quote of the one I got. Hope that helped.

When did you get them?

We set it up so you have to make 5 posts before you can send pm's..

hmm.. seems there isn't any .. I searched http://mods.mybboard.net/search/results/90636 but seems there really is not a lot for your forums on spam prevention. Well .. just copy pasting the message and PM'ing an admin worked for me so it is okay. I have noticed that most forums for some reason do not come with a "report" button in PM's (I have no clue why as I would think they should like mine (SMF) does).
